Trusted Advisor Steven P. Margulin, CPA, CFP®, Life Coach provides three levels of service to its clients.
Service Level I
This is the highest level of service, intended for clients with investable assets of $500,000 and above. The following services are offered to you, as appropriate, or as requested by you:
· Coaching you through the preparation of your Financial Road MapTM
· Written Financial Plan
· Yearly Financial Plan updates
· Preparation of an “Action Plan”
· Budget analysis
· Investment research, investment monitoring, and investment re-balancing
· Retirement planning, including sustainable withdrawal planning
· Analysis of when to take Social Security
· Estate planning
· Up to three review meetings per year
· Preparation of your personal 1040 tax return
· Preparation of your personal New Mexico PIT (or other state) tax return
· Tax planning throughout the year
· Handling IRS and state tax notices from prior years
· Preparation of the tax returns for your business and filing gross receipts tax reports for your business
· Review of, and advice on, wills, trusts, etc. and coordination of updates with attorneys
· Insurance research and acquisition, to include Life, Health, Long-Term Care, Disability, Auto, and Umbrella Coverage
· Advice on house/land/business sales and purchases, as well as advice on mortgage, auto, and other financing
· Eldercare recommendations
· Miscellaneous services, such as freeing up cash, notary public service, monthly newsletter
· Consulting service, to include unlimited meetings, phone calls, and e-mails to coach you on financial planning, estate planning, business matters, tax matters, and any other topic, at your discretion.
Notes: 1) There is a one-time fee of $1,500 to $5,000, or more, plus NM Gross Receipts Tax for NM residents, for your initial financial plan.
2) If investments do not generate the minimum annual fee, a charge for income tax preparation, and/or consulting, provided by our sister company, Steven P. Margulin CPA PC, will bring the total up to our minimum fee.
Minimum Annual Fee $5,000

*Trusted Advisor Incremental Fee Schedule
Investment amounts up to $249,999 will be charged a fee of: 1.50%
Incremental investment amounts between $250,000 and $499,999 will be charged a fee of: 0.90%
Incremental investment amounts of $500,000 and above will be charged a fee of: 0.65%
Note: On amounts over $2,500,000, fees are negotiable.
Example (rounded): If you have investments totaling $750,000, the annual fee will be computed as follows:
For the amount below $250,000, the annual fee will be 1.50%, which equals: $3,750
For the amount between $250,000-$500,000, the annual fee will be 0.90%, which equals: $2,250
For the amount between $500,000-$750,000, the annual fee will be 0.65%, which equals: $1,625
Example total annual fees: $7,625
Change Orders
Because our Fixed Price Agreement provides ongoing access to the investment, tax, and financial planning advice you need on a fixed-price basis, you are not inhibited from seeking timely advice by the fear of a clock running endlessly. Our services are designed around fixed prices, as opposed to hourly rates, and offer you access to the accumulated wisdom of the firm.
While the fixed price entitles you to unlimited consultation with us, if your question or issue requires work that goes beyond what we normally provide, as outlined above, that work will be subject to an additional price negotiation before the service is provided, and a Change Order will be issued before delivery of the additional service, with payment terms agreed to in advance.
Unanticipated Services
Furthermore, the parties agree that if an unanticipated need arises (such as, but not limited to, an audit by a taxing agency, or any other exogenous service not anticipated in this agreement by the parties), Trusted Advisor Steven P. Margulin, CPA, CFP®, Life Coach, and/or our sister company, Steven P. Margulin CPA PC, hereby agrees to perform this additional work at a mutually agreed upon price before the service is provided. This service will be billed separately to you, as part of a Change Order, and will be payable upon presentation [or payable upon terms mutually agreed upon].
Service Level II
This is the second level of service and is intended for clients with a total net worth of $250,000 to $499,999. The following services are offered to you:
· Coaching you through the preparation of your Financial Road MapTM
· Written Financial Plan
· Yearly Financial Plan updates
· Investment research, investment monitoring, and investment re-balancing
· Preparation of your personal 1040 tax return
· Preparation of your personal New Mexico PIT (or other state) tax return
· Up to two review meetings per year

Service Level III
This is the third level of service and is intended for clients with a total net worth of $100,000 to $249,999. The following services are offered to you:
· Coaching you through the preparation of your Financial Road MapTM
· Written Financial Plan
· Yearly Financial Plan updates
· Investment research, investment monitoring, and investment re-balancing
· One review meeting per year

Service Guarantee
Our work is guaranteed to your complete satisfaction. If you are not completely satisfied with the services performed by Trusted Advisor Steven P. Margulin, CPA, CFP®, Life Coach, we will, at your option, either refund the price, or accept a portion of said price that reflects your level of satisfaction.
Quality Review
You agree to, and hereby consent to, participate in, Trusted Advisor Steven P. Margulin, CPA, CFP®, Life Coach’s policy of in-house Quality Review. Trusted Advisor Steven P. Margulin, CPA, CFP®, Life Coach subscribes to a policy of quality review to maintain the highest quality of product produced by our firm. The price for this review is included in the above professional services.
Additional Client Responsibilities
Your responsibilities as the client also include providing necessary information and documents, in a timely manner, so that the work provided by the firm can go forward without unnecessary delays. You also agree to meet three times per year, or more often, if necessary, in order to keep abreast of advised changes, and to authorize such changes as are mutually agreed upon.
Payment Plan
The following payment plan is hereby agreed to by the client and Trusted Advisor Steven P. Margulin, CPA, CFP®, Life Coach:
For the quarter ending December 31 ¼ of annual fees
For the quarter ending March 31 ¼ of annual fees
For the quarter ending June 30 ¼ of annual fees
For the quarter ending September 30 ¼ of annual fees
It is anticipated that the required minimum fees will be generated by investment fees, on a quarterly basis, and thus, will not come directly out of your pocket. If, however, the investment fees do not generate the minimum amount, then you will pay the difference each quarter. You will be billed by us for your quarterly fees. Payment is due within 10 days of invoice. Please note that the stated fees do not include NM Gross Receipts Tax (charged to NM residents).
Regular Meetings
To assure that our arrangement remains responsive to your needs, as well as fair to both parties, we will meet throughout the year, as detailed above, and, if necessary, revise or adjust the scope of the services to be provided and the prices to be charged, in light of mutual experience.
Termination by Either Party
Furthermore, it is understood that either party may terminate this Agreement at any time, for any reason, within 10 days of written notice to the other party. It is understood that any unpaid services that are outstanding at the date of termination are to be paid in full within 10 days from the date of termination. Advisory fees paid in advance will be refunded on a prorated basis, according to the rules put in place by our Broker-Dealer, Centaurus Financial, Inc.
